The Fortis Manufacturing Billet Dust Cover is a replacement ejection port cover for AR-15 rifles, machined from a solid piece of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum rather than molded polymer. It is intended to protect the ejection port from debris while the rifle is not in use and to upgrade the form and function of a mil-spec AR-15 upper.
The cover weighs 0.4 ounces and measures 3.13 inches in length and 0.885 inches in width. It has a Type III hardcoat anodized finish in red. It is designed for .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO builds.
