The SUP proudly showcases this innovation with its fiber-reinforced polymer frame, reinforced by stainless steel inserts in high-stress regions. Notably, the SUP distinguishes itself with a frame-mounted control lever, serving both as a safety and decoking lever, a departure from the slide-mounted safeties commonly found in many semi-automatic pistols. Equipped with a modified Browning-type action and a patented recoil reduction system, the SUP effectively mitigates recoil impacts on pistol components and minimizes perceived recoil forces for the shooter. This system's reliability has been rigorously tested and validated through the HK mark 23 pistol designed for the U.S. Special operations Command.
