Description
The HKS 586A A Series is a six-round speedloader for revolvers chambered in 38 Special and 357 Magnum. It lets a shooter drop all six cartridges into the cylinder at once, which speeds reloading compared with loading one round at a time.
The speedloader is made of metal and finished smooth in black. Its body holds cartridges until they are released by a twist of the wrist. The knob is knurled to give a secure grip, and the speedloader is listed as compatible with Smith & Wesson 586, 686, 581 and 681 revolvers, as well as the Ruger GP100.
Some revolvers have grips that interfere with speedloaders. Those grips may need to be altered or replaced so the speedloader does not contact the grip when the cartridges are released.
