HKS 587A A Series Speedloader 38 Special/357 Magnum 7-Round Black

The HKS 587A A Series is a 7-round speedloader for revolvers chambered in 38 Special and 357 Magnum. It lets a shooter reload the full cylinder in one motion by dropping all cartridges at once, rather than loading them one at a time.

The loader has a black finish and a smooth surface, and it is built from metal. The retailer's description notes that the body is lightweight and that a knurled aluminum knob gives a secure grip, which helps when handling the loader under stress or drawing it from a pouch.

The speedloader is listed as fitting the S&W 686 and Taurus 617, 817 and 827 revolvers. Some revolvers have oversized grips that can interfere with speedloaders, and those grips may need to be altered or replaced so the loader does not contact the grip when cartridges are released.
