Specifications
Description
Hoppe's Gun Medic Quick Fix Cleaner & Lube is a 4 oz aerosol designed for quick cleaning of firearm actions. Its all-in-one formula cleans and then leaves a thin layer of lubrication on metal parts, which is intended to help protect against corrosion. It suits a fast field-style touch-up when a full cleaning is not practical.
The cleaner evaporates in about 60 seconds, and the lubricant layer is described as extremely thin. The lubricant is said to use the same technology as jet propulsion engine lubricants and is rated for use from -65 F to 500 F. The formula is bio-based.
The product is listed for use on firearms. It is a spray aerosol, so it is not a substitute for a complete disassembly and cleaning.
