Horizon Firearms Vandal DM 22 Creedmoor 22" Rifle

Horizon Firearms Vandal DM Features The Horizon Firearms Vandal DM marks Horizon s first-ever chassis rifle built around a robust aluminum XLR Element 4.0 chassis designed to deliver the consistency and adjustability that competition shooters demand. The 22 inch steel barrel features a spiral fluted threaded profile with a 1 in 8 twist rate stabilizing a wide range of 22 Creedmoor bullet weights for consistent long range accuracy. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts the included Iota Sim Brake which helps manage recoil and keep the shooter on target for faster follow-up shots. The TriggerTech trigger provides a clean consistent break that precision shooters rely on for repeatable accuracy from shot to shot. The Black Chrome finish on the barrel and receiver resists corrosion while giving the rifle a distinctive modern look that pairs well with the Black Anodized aluminum chassis. An integrated Picatinny rail atop the receiver provides a stable mounting surface for a wide range of optics while the integrated ARCA rail on the forend accepts a variety of bipods and tripod mounting systems common in competition shooting. The AICS-pattern magazine feeds from a 5+1 capacity giving shooters a reliable widely compatible magazine system. At 8.13 pounds the Horizon Firearms Vandal DM balances the rigidity of a chassis rifle with a manageable weight for extended use on the firing line.
