Hornady Subsonic 45-70 Government 410 Grain Sub-X FTX Rifle Ammo 20 Rounds

Hornady Subsonic 45-70 Government ammunition is loaded for hunting at velocities below the speed of sound. Each round uses a 410 grain Sub-X FTX bullet with a lead core, a gilding metal jacket with long grooves, and a polymer tip insert in the hollow-point cavity, intended to promote reliable expansion at low velocity.

The load is rated at a muzzle velocity of 1075 fps and is loaded with powders selected for subsonic use, producing a low flash signature for both suppressed and unsuppressed firing. Bullets carry a cannelure for a positive case crimp in semi-automatic actions. Cases are brass. Each box holds 20 rounds, and each case contains 10 boxes.
