Description
The Lantac Enhanced Side Charger Bolt Carrier Group is an AR-15 bolt carrier group designed for upper receivers that use side charging, offering quicker access to the charging handle. It is chambered for 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO and also functions as a standard direct impingement carrier in conventional DI uppers.
The carrier is black nitride finished and uses a screw-in charging handle system with 1/4-28 TPI threads. It includes enlarged, forward-positioned porting vents, a flared tail, and forward assist serrations. The handle is retained by a 3/16-inch Allen head screw, and the group is supplied with three handle variants: knurled steel, smooth steel with a silicone rubber insert, and neoprene over a steel core.
The handle base can be tightened in place with an adjustable spanner using the flats provided. The side charging handle reciprocates with the bolt carrier.
