MDT AICS Short Action Magazine 6mm BR 6mm Dasher 12-Round Steel

The MDT AICS Short Action Magazine is a 12-round steel detachable magazine for 6mm BR and 6mm Dasher cartridges, intended for rifles built on AICS-pattern bottom metal and chassis systems. It is nitride-finished and coated with Cerakote Elite in black.

The magazine uses a double stack to single feed transition for reduced overall height compared with the industry standard. It is built on a 308 magazine body with a binder plate to accommodate the shorter 6mm cartridges. Magazines without a front binder plate allow a maximum cartridge overall length of 2.960 inches.

Most common actions, including Remington 700 and Savage 10/11, require receiver modification, such as notching the bottom of the feed ramp, to keep bullet tips from catching. Confirm action compatibility before ordering, as some actions are not compatible.
