MDT AICS Short Action 308 Winchester 5-Round Magazine Without Binder Plate Steel

The MDT AICS Short Action 5-round magazine is a steel detachable box magazine for rifles using AICS-pattern bottom metal and chassis systems. It is offered for the .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge families and is finished in black Steel Nitride with a Cerakote Elite coating.

The magazine uses a double stack to single feed transition design intended to reduce overall height compared with the industry standard. Its overall length is 3.06 inches. This version has no front binder plate and allows a maximum cartridge overall length of 2.960 inches.

Most common actions, such as the Remington 700 and Savage 10/11, may require receiver modification, such as notching the bottom of the feed ramp, so bullet tips do not catch on the ramp. Confirm compatibility before ordering.
