MDT AICS Short Action 308 Winchester 12-Round Steel Magazine without Binder Plate

The MDT AICS Short Action 12-Round Steel Magazine is a detachable rifle magazine for AICS-pattern bottom metal and chassis systems. It is offered for .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor family cartridges and uses a Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design that reduces overall height compared to the industry standard.

The magazine is machined from high strength steel with a nitride finish and a Cerakote Elite coating in black. This version omits the front binder plate, which limits maximum cartridge overall length to 2.960 inches.

Most common actions, such as the Remington 700 and Savage 10/11, require receiver modification, such as notching the bottom of the feed ramp, to keep bullet tips from catching. Confirm compatibility with your action before ordering.
