MDT AICS Short Action Magazine 308 Winchester 12-Round Steel Nitride

The MDT AICS Short Action Magazine is a 12-round detachable rifle magazine built for AICS-pattern bottom metal and chassis systems. It is intended for short action cartridges, with a 308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor listed as compatible calibers.

The magazine body is made from high strength steel with a nitride finish for durability. Two internal ribs reduce friction between the cartridge and the magazine body and provide a smooth transition from double stack to single feed at the top of the magazine. The nominal length is 3.050 inches and the internal length is 2.890 inches. The magazine is black.

Binder plates are included with these magazines. Magazines with front binder plates are compatible with all rifles equipped with AICS-pattern bottom metal or chassis systems. The binder plate holds cartridges back from the front of the magazine and guides them past the bottom of the feed ramp.
