Description
The Mossberg Maverick 88 All Purpose is a pump-action shotgun chambered in 20 gauge, built on the Remington 870 platform. It is intended for hunting, range use and home defense, and its twin action bars are described as giving a consistent, smooth cycling action.
The shotgun has a 26-inch barrel with a bead front sight, a blued steel finish and a 5-round capacity. It is a right-hand model with an overall length of 45.25 inches and weighs about 7 pounds. Its 20 gauge 3-inch chamber accepts 3-inch shells.
The Remington 870 platform means many aftermarket parts and accessories designed for that pattern may fit this model.
