Description
The Mossberg Maverick 88 Security is a pump-action 12 gauge shotgun built for home defense and general-purpose use. It uses a manual slide action to cycle rounds and is offered with a matte Flat Dark Earth finish and a synthetic stock and forend.
The shotgun has a 20-inch barrel with a 12 gauge, 3-inch chamber, and an overall length of 41 inches. It weighs 6.5 pounds and holds 7 rounds. A bead front sight is fitted, and the cylinder bore is suited to shooting a range of loads without concern for a tight choke. The stock is configured for right-handed shooters.
The Maverick 88 Security is intended for shooters who want a compact, lightweight pump shotgun chambered for 3-inch shells.
