The Mossberg 500 Field/Deer Combo is a 12 gauge pump action shotgun sold with two barrels, giving the hunter one firearm for two roles. The vent rib ported field barrel has dual beads and Accu-Set choke compatibility for general hunting, while the ported fully rifled slug barrel carries adjustable rifle sights for deer.

The shotgun has a steel receiver, a 28-inch barrel, a 3-inch chamber and a 5+1 capacity, with a synthetic fixed stock. It weighs 7.25 pounds and measures 47.5 inches overall with the field barrel installed. The action uses dual extractors, twin action bars, a steel-to-steel lockup and an anti-jam elevator, with a right-hand tang safety.

Both barrels and the metal components are finished in Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camouflage. Accu-Set Fully Rifled Bore chokes are included.
