Noveske OG 5.56 12.5" Threaded Barrel Bead Blasted Silver

Noveske OG Barrel Features The Noveske OG barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel with a 1:7 twist rate a combination chosen for stabilizing a wide range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights with match-grade consistency. Noveske hand-polishes its proprietary match chamber on every barrel a process intended to improve feeding reliability and reduce chamber-related accuracy variation compared to standard reamed chambers. Extended hand-polished feed ramps further smooth the transition from magazine to chamber an upgrade over the sharper factory ramps found on many mil-spec barrels. The 12.5 inch length and lightweight contour keep the barrel from adding unnecessary weight to the front of the rifle making it a good fit for maneuverable carbine builds. A carbine-length gas system paired with a pinned low-profile gas block keeps the barrel s gas timing consistent and reduces the chance of the block shifting under recoil. The bead-blasted silver finish gives the barrel a distinctive non-anodized look that also helps dissipate heat during sustained firing strings. Noveske includes a headspaced bolt matched to this specific barrel along with a gas tube sized to the carbine-length system simplifying the build process for customers assembling their own upper. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts standard AR-15 muzzle devices rounding out a barrel built for builders who want proven Noveske quality in a lightweight 12.5 inch package.
