Otis Ripcord Pistol Bore Cleaner 45 Caliber

The Otis Ripcord is a one-pass bore cleaner for .45 caliber handguns. It is run through the barrel from breech to muzzle, so no gravity feed is needed. A rigid, helix-shaped rubber core holds the cleaning surface against the bore so it engages the rifling during each pass.

The braided Nomex outer surface is rated to 700 degrees Fahrenheit, which allows cleaning while the barrel is still warm. The cleaning surface is 10 inches long and the overall length is 36 inches. The ends are threaded 8-32 to accept Otis cleaning components, such as a bore brush for a more thorough clean. This listing includes the Ripcord only.
