Ruger American Rimfire Compact 22 LR 18" 10-Round Bolt-Action Rifle

The Ruger American Rimfire Compact is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 22 LR, built for small-bore target shooting, plinking and training. Its compact frame and 18-inch barrel give it a shorter overall length of 35.75 inches than a full-size rimfire.

The rifle uses a Power Bedding integral bedding block that locates the receiver and free-floats the cold hammer-forged barrel. It has an adjustable Ruger Marksman trigger, a tang safety, a satin blued steel receiver and barrel, and a black synthetic stock. Standard sights are an adjustable rear V-slot folding-leaf and a Williams fiber optic front. The rifle weighs 5.3 pounds and is right-handed.

A 3/8 rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, drilled and tapped for mounting an optic. The detachable flush-mounted 10/22 BX-1 rotary magazine holds 10 rounds, and the stock includes two short-length-of-pull modules and sling swivel studs.
