Description
The Rugged Suppressors Obsidian 45 Piston Copper is a replacement suppressor piston for the Obsidian 45 suppressor. It uses a non-slotted design that creates a full-circumference gas seal, which the manufacturer states reduces gas blowback during suppressed shooting.
The piston is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and heat treated for durability. It is built for metric right-hand barrels with an M16x1 RH thread pattern and carries a copper finish. When used on a fixed barrel platform such as a carbine or subgun, the spring must be replaced with a Fixed Barrel Spacer for proper operation.
