Savage Axis 2 7mm-08 Remington 22" Left Hand Bolt Action Rifle FDE 4-Rounds

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Axis 2 pairs a button-rifled free-floating 22 barrel with a 1:9.5 twist rate to stabilize a wide range of 7mm-08 Rem bullet weights for consistent downrange accuracy. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for a Weaver base so a scope mounts directly without aftermarket gunsmithing and the two-position safety gives fast quiet on-off operation in the field. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter set trigger pull to a personal preference turning a factory rifle into one that breaks clean and predictably. A steel trigger guard and detachable box magazine round out an action built to run reliably through a hunting season. The Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock resists weather and rough handling far better than a wood stock while the matte black metal finish cuts glare without drawing the eye in the field. A sling attachment point lets hunters carry the rifle hands free between stands and the included recoil pad softens felt recoil from the 7mm-08 Rem chambering across a long day of shooting. Savage includes a cable trigger lock standard for safe storage and transport. At 6.6 lbs and 42.5 overall this left-hand AXIS 2 is a purpose-built accurate rifle for hunters heading into big game season.
