Savage Axis 2 22 Creedmoor 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle Gray

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 brings improved ergonomics to a proven hunting rifle platform starting with a user-adjustable AccuTrigger that lets the shooter fine-tune the trigger pull weight anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs to match personal preference. Thread-in headspacing improves consistency during manufacturing helping each rifle shoot more accurately out of the box. The updated bolt handle carries a sleek ergonomic design that enhances user control and comfort during operation especially in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather when grip matters most. A 1:8 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 22 Creedmoor bullet weights for consistent accuracy at distance. The 20 matte black carbon steel barrel is button-rifled and threaded at 1/2x28 giving the shooter the option to add a suppressor or muzzle device without a barrel swap. The drilled and tapped receiver is ready to accept scope bases for mounting optics suited to the rifle s hunting role. A gray synthetic stock features a pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells for comfortable handling from either side and a detachable 4-round box magazine makes reloading fast in the field. At 6.7 lbs the Axis 2 stays light enough to carry comfortably through a long day of hunting while delivering the accuracy Savage rifles are known for.
