Savage Axis 2 270 Win 20" Threaded Left Hand Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is built around a precision button-rifled threaded 20 inch barrel chambered in .270 Win with a 1:10 twist rate matched to the cartridge s traditional hunting bullet weights. The 5/8x24 thread pattern accepts muzzle devices or suppressors for hunters managing recoil in the field giving the rifle added versatility beyond a bare barrel. Thread-in headspacing improves manufacturing consistency from rifle to rifle so each barrel is fitted with the same repeatable precision shooters expect from a factory hunting rig. The updated bolt handle design enhances control and comfort especially in adverse weather like rain or cold when gloved hands need a confident grip to cycle the action. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets left-handed shooters set pull weight anywhere from 2.5 to 6 pounds to match personal preference delivering a crisp consistent break that helps put the first shot where it counts. The Gray fixed synthetic stock features enhanced texturing with a contoured pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells built in a left-hand configuration for southpaw hunters who want a rifle designed around them rather than adapted to them. An adaptable length of pull of 13.75 inches lets the rifle fit a range of shooters without aftermarket stock work making it easy to share across hunters of different builds. The detachable box magazine feeds 4 rounds and drops free for quick reloads while hunting keeping the rifle ready to go when game moves fast. With a drilled and tapped receiver for mounting optics a two-position safety for fast deliberate shot control and a rubber recoil pad to soften recoil from the .270 Win cartridge over a long day afield this rifle is a complete ready to hunt left-hand package built for dependable performance season after season.
