Savage Axis 2 Gray 5.56 NATO 20" 4-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 pairs a free floating button-rifled 20 barrel with a fast 1:7 twist rate built for the 5.56 cartridge giving heavier bullets the stability they need for accurate consistent groups. Thread-in headspacing tightens chamber tolerances from the factory and the rifle feeds from a 4+1 round detachable box magazine for quick reloads between shots. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs so a shooter can move away from a heavy factory pull toward one that suits their technique. A two-position safety and a drilled and tapped suppressor-ready receiver round out an action built for both range work and field use. The Gray synthetic stock carries enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells keeping the rifle comfortable to hold in any weather and for either hand. The redesigned sleek bolt handle improves control and comfort during cycling particularly with gloves on in cold conditions. A rubber recoil pad tames felt recoil during long range sessions and the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle device for shooters managing sound or muzzle rise. This Axis 2 in 5.56 delivers Savage s proven out-of-the-box accuracy at an accessible price point for sale at ARMSAGORA.
