Savage Axis XP Compact 5.56 NATO 20" 4-Round Bolt Action Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis XP Compact Features The Savage Arms Axis XP Compact is built around a precision button-rifled threaded 20 barrel with a fast 1:7 twist rate suited to the 5.56 cartridge giving new shooters accuracy right out of the box. Thread-in headspacing tightens chamber tolerances from the factory and the rifle feeds from a 4+1 round detachable box magazine for quick easy reloading. A two-position safety keeps operation simple for less experienced shooters and the drilled and tapped receiver leaves room to add optics down the road even though this XP package already ships scoped. The compact stock s shorter 12.75 length of pull and 3.75 height are sized specifically for smaller-framed shooters and younger hunters. The rifle ships factory mounted and bore sighted with a 3-9x40mm Duplex scope eliminating the need for a separate mounting and zeroing trip before a young hunter s first outing. The Black synthetic stock carries enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells so the rifle is comfortable to shoulder for right or left-handed shooters alike. The enhanced ergonomic bolt handle offers a sleek design that improves control and comfort during operation especially in cold or wet weather. At 7.5 lbs this Axis XP Compact gives new shooters a complete properly-fitted rifle for sale at ARMSAGORA.
