Savage Axis 2 Gray 7mm-08 Rem 20" 4-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is built around a precision button-rifled threaded 20 barrel with a 1:9.5 twist rate matched to the 7mm-08 Rem cartridge giving hunters the accuracy needed at extended ranges. Thread-in headspacing tightens chamber tolerances from the factory and the 4+1 round detachable box magazine allows a fast reload without breaking a shooting position. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs letting hunters move away from a heavy factory pull toward one tuned to their own technique. A two-position safety and a drilled and tapped receiver round out an action built for dependable field performance and that receiver means the rifle is ready to accept a scope the moment a hunter chooses one without any gunsmithing. The redesigned ergonomic bolt handle offers a sleeker profile that stays easy to run in cold or wet weather even with gloved hands fumbling for a fast follow-up shot. The Gray synthetic stock carries enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells so the rifle handles comfortably for right or left-handed shooters working from a variety of field positions. A rubber recoil pad softens the recoil of the 7mm-08 across a long day in the field keeping the shooter comfortable through repeated practice sessions before the hunt as well as follow-up shots in the field. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle brake for hunters who want to manage recoil or sound signature further rounding out a versatile ready-to-hunt package available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
