Savage Axis 2 XP Wood / Hardwood .22 Creedmoor 20 Threaded Barrel 4-Rounds w/ 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Axis 2 XP pairs a precision button-rifled 20 inch barrel with a 1:9 inch twist rate suited to the .22 Creedmoor s bullet weights delivering the accuracy this flat-shooting cartridge is built for. The barrel is threaded at 1/2x28 giving shooters the option to add a muzzle brake or suppressor without a separate gunsmithing step. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets each shooter set trigger pull to their preference improving precision from the bench or in the field. A 4-round detachable box magazine keeps reloads fast between strings of fire. The rifle s hardwood stock carries enhanced texturing at the grip and forend for a secure hold in wet or cold conditions while the contoured pistol grip s ambidextrous palm swells fit both right and left-handed shooters comfortably. The blued metal finish protects the action and barrel against the elements during field use. Because the 3-9x40mm scope ships factory mounted and bore-sighted the rifle is ready to confirm zero and shoot with minimal setup time. Hunters and shooters looking for a complete out-of-the-box .22 Creedmoor bolt rifle get everything needed to get to the range immediately.
