Savage Axis II XP 22-250 Rifle 20" Threaded with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Axis 2 XP pairs a precision button-rifled barrel with the proven AccuTrigger giving hunters a crisp user-adjustable trigger pull right from the factory. Chambered in .22-250 Rem a flat-shooting varmint and predator cartridge the rifle s 1:12 twist rate is matched to stabilize the bullet weights that cartridge is known for. The 20 barrel is threaded 1/2x28 so a suppressor or muzzle brake can be added without gunsmithing. An enhanced bolt handle design gives a more positive easier grip during fast follow-up shots in the field. The hardwood stock carries enhanced texturing at the grip and forend for a secure hold in wet or gloved conditions and the contoured pistol grip adds ambidextrous palm swells so right and left-handed shooters alike get a comfortable controlled index. A user-adjustable length of pull lets the rifle be tailored to the shooter rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all fit. The detachable box magazine holds 4 rounds and allows quick reloads in the field. Factory mounted and bore-sighted the included 3-9x40mm scope rounds out a complete ready-to-hunt package at 7.8 lbs.
