Description
The Shooters Choice Pierce Point Jag is a single-piece brass cleaning jag for threaded cleaning rods. It attaches to a rod and holds a cleaning patch as it is pulled through the bore, and its pointed tip helps keep the patch centered during the stroke and lets it fall away cleanly at the muzzle.
The jag is machined from solid brass, a material chosen because it is less likely to scratch the bore during routine cleaning. It is sized by caliber for .22 rimfire, .22-250 Remington, .223 Remington/5.56x45mm NATO and .243 Winchester bores, since a jag that is too loose or too tight will not hold a patch properly.
It uses standard 8-32 threads, so it fits most cleaning rods.
