Built on Smith & Wesson's massive X-Frame, the Model 500 was introduced in 2003 and quickly established itself as one of the most powerful production revolvers ever manufactured. This example features a stainless steel finish with the factory rubber grip and appears to be in very good overall condition, showing only light signs of handling with a clean, attractive appearance. Based on the serial number alone, a definitive manufacture date cannot be confirmed without a factory letter or Smith & Wesson records lookup, but it appears to be an early production-era Model 500. The revolver retains its original configuration and presents well.
