Description
The Springfield Armory Hellion Bullpup is a semi-automatic rifle built around a bullpup layout, which places the action behind the trigger to keep the overall length short while retaining a 16-inch barrel. It is intended for tactical and recreational shooting.
The rifle uses a polymer body in an OD Green matte finish and weighs 8 pounds. It has low-profile flip-up front and rear sights, a 4-prong flash hider, and a 1/2x28 threaded barrel for muzzle devices. The 1-in-7 rate of twist and 5-position adjustable stock are included, and an ambidextrous non-reciprocating charging handle serves right- and left-handed shooters.
The rifle chambers 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO and ships with one 30-round magazine.
