Tipton Universal Bore Guide

The Tipton Universal Bore Guide is a cleaning accessory for centerfire rifles. It aligns the cleaning rod with the bore and chamber and helps reduce solvent overflow onto the action, protecting the bore, chamber and action during cleaning.

Three interchangeable tips cover most centerfire calibers from .17 to .460. Small tips fit most cartridges from .17 to .24 caliber (up to 6mm), medium tips fit .25 to .30 caliber (6.5mm to 7.62mm), and large tips fit cartridges over .30 caliber. Chamber dimensions do not directly match bore diameter, so select the tip that fits the cartridge best.

The guide is machined from aluminum with an adjustable sliding collar for bolt-action rifles, which fits bolt diameters of .695 inch or larger. A separate AR-15 collar fits inside the receiver of AR-15 style rifles. It accepts cleaning rods up to .425 inch in diameter and measures 31.5 inches long when closed.
