Western Field Model 59 .22 Long Rifle Semi-Auto Rifle 24" Barrel

The Western Field Model 59 (and 59A) chambered in .22 Long Rifle with a 24" barrel is a vintage semi-automatic, tube-fed rifle originally sold as a house brand for the Montgomery Ward department store. Manufactured primarily during the late 1930s and 1940s, this rifle was actually built by Savage/Stevens using the mechanical blueprint of the legendary Stevens Model 87 / Savage Model 6 series.
