Winchester Deer Season Extreme Slug 12 Gauge 2-3/4" 1-1/8 oz Rifled Slug 5 Rounds

Not all deer hunters tote rifles during general firearms seasons as evidenced by a number of states and localities restricted to shotgun use only. Now, those hunters can benefit from the same high-performance ammunition with Winchester Deer Season Slug. The Deer Season 12-gauge slug is created for those slug gun hunters who shoot through smooth-bore barrels and features a 1A 1/4-ounce slug combined with a unique stabilizing wad that inserts through the slug to form a dome-shaped tip. The slug and wad travel as one downrange providing better accuracy than traditional rifled foster slugs. Upon impact, the slug and wad separate, depositing all of the slug's energy into the vitals of the deer for maximum terminal performance.
