Federal Premium Vital-Shok TruBall 12 Gauge 2-3/4" 1 oz Hollow Point Rifled Slug 5 Rounds

Federal Premium Vital-Shok TruBall is a 12 gauge shotgun shell loaded with a hollow point rifled slug, intended for hunting. It is built for smoothbore shotguns and turns a standard shotgun into a slug gun without a barrel change.

The load fires a 1 oz (438 grain) rifled slug with a hollow point tip at a stated muzzle velocity of 1600 fps. A plastic ball sits between the wad and the slug to improve accuracy. Each box holds 5 rounds of 12 gauge 2-3/4 inch shells.

The shells are designed primarily for smoothbore barrels and can also be fired in rifled choke tube barrels or fully rifled barrels.
