Colt Gold Cup National Match Shooter s Model Features The Colt Gold Cup National Match is built around a 5 National Match barrel precisely fitted to a blued carbon steel slide and frame delivering the tight tolerances and consistent accuracy that have made the Gold Cup National Match the recognized standard for competitive semi-automatic pistols since its introduction in the late 1950s. The adjustable wide trigger provides a refined competition-tuned single-action pull for consistent predictable performance across extended match strings and precision range sessions. Post front and fully adjustable rear target sights allow exact zeroing for windage and elevation supporting the repeatable shot placement that competitive shooting at any level demands. The Colt Gold Cup National Match features walnut grips with an integrated gold medallion that deliver a classic distinguished aesthetic and positive hand purchase suited to the Gold Cup s dual identity as a competition workhorse and heritage collector piece. The blued carbon steel frame and serrated blued carbon steel slide maintain the traditional full-steel construction and classic appearance that define the National Match as a heritage-correct competition 1911. At 37 oz. and 8.50 overall the full-size Government frame provides the longest sight radius in the 1911 format for maximum accuracy potential at competition distances. As a Colt Shooter s Model this Gold Cup National Match is a 100% new-in-box firearm that may exhibit a slight finish imperfection originating during the manufacturing process typically imperceptible without a trained eye or magnification. These blemishes carry no functional impact and do not affect the reliability accuracy or longevity of the pistol. Shooter s Model products are not covered under Colt s standard one-year warranty.
