Description

The CZ 457 Premium is a bolt-action rimfire rifle in 22 LR built in a European style for target shooting, plinking, and small-game use. It has a walnut stock with a hog-back profile, a mild Monte Carlo comb, a cheekpiece, and a decorative forend tip with schnabel.

The rifle has a 24.8-inch blued barrel with adjustable tangent rear and fiber optic front sights on an integral 11mm dovetail, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2x20. It weighs 7.05 pounds, has an overall length of 42.71 inches, and holds 5 rounds. The receiver is stainless steel, and the trigger is adjustable for weight, creep, and over-travel.

The 60-degree bolt rotation allows larger objective bells and lower scope ring heights, and the two-piece interlocking bottom metal replaces the stamped design of the earlier 455. The rifle is offered in a right-hand configuration with a two-position safety.
