Description
The Holosun IRIS 2 Green/IR is a dual-function laser sight that combines a visible green laser pointer with an infrared laser pointer in one device. It mounts to a Picatinny rail and is built for use on firearms that accept a standard 1913 Picatinny rail.
The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum with a black anodized finish and measures 3.2 by 1.85 by 1.3 inches. The unit weighs 5 ounces. The redesigned body sits 21 percent lower than the previous model and is reported to be 45 percent lighter. A center-positioned fire button supports momentary or constant-on activation for ambidextrous use, and a rear-facing power and mode selector switch controls the unit. An ultra-compact remote fire button is included.
