The Holosun IRIS 1 Red is a single-function laser sight designed to mount on a Picatinny rail. It projects a red laser aiming point for quick, positional aiming on rifles, carbines and other rail-equipped platforms.
The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum in a black anodized finish and weighs 4.6 ounces. Overall dimensions are 3.4 by 1.6 by 1.2 inches. The redesigned body is described as 33 percent lighter and 20 percent lower in height than its predecessor. An on-board fire button supports momentary or constant-on operation, and a rear-facing selector switch sets the mode and power for both the on-board button and the included remote activation button.
The IRIS 1 mounts to standard 1913 Picatinny rail. It is also offered in green and infrared variants.
