Description
The Holosun IRIS 1 is a green laser sight designed to mount on a Picatinny rail. It is built for aiming aids on rifles, carbines, and other firearms that use a Picatinny platform, providing a visible laser projection to assist with point of aim.
The IRIS 1 has a 7075 aluminum housing with a black anodized finish and weighs 4.6 oz. Its overall length is 3.4 inches, and the body measures 3.4 x 1.6 x 1.2 inches. The redesigned housing reduces weight by 33% and overall height by 20% compared with the prior generation. An on-board fire button supports momentary or constant-on operation, and a rear-facing selector switch sets modes and power for both the on-board button and the included remote activation button.
The unit is also offered in red and infrared versions.
