Description
Hornady Custom 500 S&W Mag is factory-loaded centerfire handgun ammunition for hunting, competition and self-defense use. It is loaded with a 300 grain Flex Tip eXpanding (FTX) bullet, intended for medium game at handgun ranges.
The load carries a muzzle velocity of 2075 fps and a muzzle energy of 2868 ft-lbs. The brass cases are selected for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures. Cases, primers and propellants are chosen for handgun performance, and powder charges are loaded for consistent velocity and pressure from lot to lot.
Each box contains 20 rounds, and each case contains 10 boxes, for 200 rounds per case. The ammunition is chambered for the 500 S&W Magnum cartridge.
