Luth-AR M4 SOCOM 14.5" 5.56 1:7 Barrel Assembly

Luth-AR M4 SOCOM Barrel Assembly Features The Luth-AR M4 SOCOM Barrel Assembly centers on a 14.5 inch SOCOM profile barrel chambered in 5.56 and machined from 4150 CMV steel a material chosen for its strength and resistance to the heat generated by sustained firing. A 1 in 7 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights giving builders flexibility in ammunition selection from lighter varmint loads to heavier match projectiles. The button broached rifling process used in production delivers a consistent accurate bore that supports reliable long term performance. This barrel profile also gives the completed rifle a classic SOCOM appearance favored by many AR-15 builders. The assembly is mated to an A3 flattop receiver that already includes the bolt carrier charging handle forward assist and ejection port cover simplifying the build process considerably. An F marked front sight base and two piece handguard round out the included components giving the builder a largely complete upper assembly to work from. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle and .750 inch gas block diameter follow standard AR-15 conventions keeping aftermarket compatibility straightforward. For builders assembling a reliable carbine length 5.56 rifle this Luth-AR assembly offers a dependable foundation backed by established barrel manufacturing.
