Luth-AR MBA-1 Modular Buttstock Assembly Black AR-15 Ambidextrous

The Luth-AR MBA-1 is a modular buttstock assembly for the AR-15 platform, designed as a replacement or upgrade for A1 and A2 stocks. The kit is sold as a bundle that includes the buttstock, extension tube, buffer spring, and buffer body assembly, all intended for .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO rifles.

The stock is made from glass-filled nylon and weighs 1.26 pounds in black. It is ambidextrous, with a cheek piece pre-installed for right-handed shooters that can be moved to the left side. The MBA-1 is adjustable in height and length of pull, with an extended buttplate adding about 1 1/16 inch of length. Overall length is 10.38 inches, or about 11.5 inches fully extended.

The assembly fits A1 and A2 buffer tubes and is interchangeable with standard A1 or A2 buttstocks. It is not compatible with carbine rifles that use telescoping assemblies. Sling swivels are not included. Installing an A2 buffer system on a carbine may affect function.
