Description
The Luth-AR MBA-1 is a modular buttstock assembly for AR-10 platform rifles chambered in .308 Winchester. It is designed for builders modifying a gas gun for precision work or assembling a DMR-style rifle, and it adjusts both cheek rest height and length of pull.
The stock is made from glass-filled nylon and weighs 1.26 pounds. The cheek rest adds up to 1 inch of height, length of pull extends by up to 1 1/16 inch with the extended buttplate, and the overall length is 10.38 inches. The cheek piece is pre-installed for right-handed shooters and can be moved to the left side for left-handed use.
This kit is sold as a bundle and includes the buttstock, a .308 rifle receiver extension (A2 tube), a standard buffer spring, and a standard buffer body assembly. Sling swivels are not included. It is not interchangeable with carbine rifles that use telescoping assemblies.
