Description
The Midwest Industries AK Picatinny End Plate Adapter replaces the factory trunnion on AK-47 and AKM pattern rifles with a Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail, giving the stock a modern mounting interface. It is machined to fit the 4.5mm pin diameter found on many AK factory folding stocks.
The adapter is made from 6061 hardcoat anodized aluminum with steel tension blocks built into the design to keep the fit snug under recoil. Once installed, it accepts 1913-style fixed or side folding stocks. Installation requires cutting off the stock tang and may need additional gunsmithing depending on the rifle.
The adapter is finished in black and is made in the USA.
