Description
The Midwest Industries AK Picatinny Adapter replaces the AK's standard trunnion with a Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail, allowing a range of modern fixed and side-folding stocks to be fitted to an AK-47 that would otherwise not accept them. It is machined from 6061 hardcoat anodized aluminum and includes integrated steel tension blocks for a snug, play-free fit.
The adapter is sized for AK platforms with a 5.5mm trunnion pin diameter, so confirm your trunnion size before ordering. Installation requires cutting off the stock tang and may need additional gunsmithing depending on the rifle. Once the tools are on hand, the setup typically takes 15 minutes or less. The adapter is made in the USA.
