Proof Research Sendero Carbon Fiber Barrel 22 Creedmoor 18" 1:8 Twist

Proof Research Sendero Barrel Features The Proof Research Sendero pairs a Bergara style pre fit shank with a carbon fiber wrapped barrel dropping straight into a Tikka T3X action without gunsmith fitting. The carbon fiber construction wraps a precision rifled steel core in a carbon fiber matrix that dissipates heat and resists the stringing that plain steel barrels show after a few shots. A 1:8 twist rate keeps heavier longer bullets stabilized in flight which matters in a .22 Creedmoor built to reach out well past typical varmint distances. Five lands and grooves of rifling are cut for consistent bullet engagement supporting the accuracy this cartridge and barrel combination are built to deliver. The 18 inch barrel length balances velocity retention with a manageable overall rifle length for packing in and out of the field. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle comes ready for a brake to tame recoil or a suppressor for hearing protection and reduced signature without needing aftermarket machine work. Because the barrel is a drop in fit for the Tikka T3X upgrading is a straightforward swap rather than a full rebuild. For hunters and long range shooters chasing lighter rifle weight and repeatable accuracy from their .22 Creedmoor the Proof Research Sendero is available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
