Proof Research Tundra 7mm Backcountry 20" 4-Round Bolt Action Rifle, Tundra Jungle Green

Proof Research Tundra Features The Proof Research Tundra is engineered around a carbon fiber wrapped match grade barrel a construction method that dramatically cuts weight compared to a traditional steel barrel while preserving the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy shot after shot. The 1-in-8 twist rate is matched to heavier 7mm Backcountry projectiles stabilizing them for flatter trajectories and better retained energy at extended ranges. The threaded 5/8x24 muzzle accepts a suppressor or brake which means hunters can tailor recoil management to their own tolerance without sending the rifle back to a gunsmith. Together these elements give the Tundra a performance profile built for hunters who need to shoot accurately at distance after a long carry. The TFDE Proof Tundra stock is molded from carbon fiber rather than traditional synthetic material which means it resists flex under recoil and sheds weight that would otherwise end up on the hunter s back during a long stalk. Its Tactical Flat Dark Earth finish blends into varied terrain while giving the rifle a distinct purposeful look apart from a plain black gun. At 8 lbs 2 oz bare the rifle balances well with an optic mounted and the black metal finish resists the scuffs and scrapes that come with hard field use. Every component is chosen to keep the rifle dependable in the field so hunters can trust it when the shot finally presents itself.
