Savage Axis XP Compact Left Hand 5.56 NATO 20" 4-Round Bolt Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis XP w/Optic Features The Savage Arms Axis XP w/Optic is built around a precision button rifled barrel that is threaded for a muzzle device giving shooters the option to add a brake or suppressor down the road. Thread-in headspacing improves consistency during manufacturing which translates to more uniform chambering and more reliable accuracy from rifle to rifle. The enhanced bolt handle features a sleek ergonomic design that improves user control and comfort during operation especially in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather. A Black synthetic stock with a fixed pistol grip keeps the rifle light and low maintenance for hunters who spend long days in the field. This Compact-sized left-hand model ships with a factory mounted and boresighted 3-9x40mm Duplex scope letting a new shooter get into the field faster without needing to source and mount glass separately. Receiver drilled and tapped construction means the rifle is ready for additional optics mounting if the included scope is ever swapped out. At 7.5 lbs with a 20 barrel and a 1/2x28 thread pattern the Axis XP w/Optic balances portability with the stability needed for accurate shot placement. Left-handed hunters looking for a complete optics-ready 5.56 bolt rifle will find this a straightforward value-focused choice.
