Savage Axis 2 XP Gray .243 Win 20" Threaded Left Hand Rifle with 3-9x40mm Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 XP offers hunters even better out-of-the-box performance than earlier Axis rifles. The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable from 2.5 to 6 lbs letting the shooter dial in a clean predictable break to match personal preference. An adjustable length of pull tailors the stock to the shooter s build and the ergonomic stock carries enhanced texturing along with a contoured pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells for a secure hold on either side which matters for a left-hand rifle built to serve southpaw shooters as a true mirror-image platform rather than an afterthought. The 20 matte black carbon steel barrel is threaded at 5/8x24 for a muzzle brake or suppressor adding versatility when managing recoil from the light-shooting .243 Win cartridge and that same barrel is button-rifled for consistent bore dimensions shot after shot. The gray synthetic stock pairs with a detachable box magazine holding 4 rounds for fast reloads on varmints or deer alike and its lightweight synthetic construction resists the swelling and warping that can plague a wood stock in wet field conditions. The rifle ships with a factory-mounted and boresighted 3-9x40mm scope carrying fully multi-coated lenses and a Duplex reticle along with tool-less windage and elevation adjustments for quick zeroing right out of the box saving the hunter a trip to the range before opening day. The drilled and tapped matte black receiver and 1:9.25 twist barrel are matched to stabilize a wide range of .243 Win bullet weights from lighter varmint loads to heavier deer-hunting bullets. At 6.7 lbs this left-hand Axis 2 XP is a complete ready-to-hunt rifle for varmint and deer hunters alike who want a dependable scoped setup without the cost or hassle of assembling one piece by piece.
