Description
The Springfield Armory Hellion Bullpup is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington, built on a bullpup-style layout with an ambidextrous operating system suited to both left- and right-handed shooters. It uses a direct impingement gas system and a 20-inch barrel with a 1:7 twist rate, suitable for a wide range of bullet weights.
The rifle has a polymer receiver and a synthetic stock with five-position adjustment and a cheek riser. Flip-up front and rear sights, a 4-prong flash hider, and Picatinny rails with M-LOK handguards provide mounting space. The featureless grip wrap is designed for California compliance. It ships with a 10-round capacity and weighs 8.06 pounds in the structured specifications.
